About the estimate

Yes. On-site estimates are free everywhere in our service area with no travel charge, and there is no obligation to book. The only paid assessments are formal written arborist reports for permits, insurance claims or litigation, which start at $275 and are quoted before we begin.

It helps a great deal but it is not essential. If the trees are accessible from outside a locked gate we can assess and email the quote. Being there means the arborist can explain what they are seeing and answer questions on the spot, which is usually worth the twenty minutes.

Twenty to forty minutes for a typical residential property, longer if there are many trees or a risk assessment is involved. You get the written quote by email the same day or the next morning, itemised tree by tree.

For simple jobs, sometimes. A single small tree in an open yard can often be quoted from two or three clear photos including one showing the base and one from far enough back to judge height. Anything near a structure, or any risk question, needs eyes on it.
